THINKING ABOUT STUDYING INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB)?
We all learn something new every day, since the fantastic experience of learning knows neither age nor limits. An attitude of constant learning is one of the qualities that an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program student must have; an implicit quality in the SEK student since the very creation of our educational institution more than 130 years ago, more than a century with the aim of “being better”.
Within the academic curriculum of the SEK International Institution, our students have the opportunity to study the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program. This program is implemented in 159 countries and is made up of the following areas of knowledge: Languages, Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, or Arts. As a central trunk, the components of Theory of Knowledge, Creativity, Action and Service (CAS), and Monograph are worked on.
Research and problem solving are one of its premises, since it offers the opportunity to put the knowledge acquired into practice in real situations.
Through the International Baccalaureate, we ensure that our students acquire the following attributes:
– Responsibility, constant students, and a high organizational level.
– Solidarity, integrity, balance, and thoughtfulness.
– Open-minded, critical, informed, and educated people.
– Good communicators, inquirers, and thinkers.
– Curiousness, creativeness, daring, and an interest in investigating.
Since our inception, we have been able to see how the Diploma Program provides our students with the knowledge and tools necessary to maximize their skills.
Students from the IB world acquire an international vision and are academically and socially prepared for their university and professional future anywhere in the world.
