Welcome to Hollywood

We almost always expect to have popcorn when we go to the cinema, but what would we do if we couldn’t eat them because they were jumping around?

“Jumping popcorn” is what we get if we mix vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and water with the popcorn.
Through their project “Welcome to Hollywood”, children in 3rd and 4th Year Primary at Eirís International School (Spain) are learning science in a fun and creative way.

Throughout the coming school year, they will use the project to learn through the experiences they have in the classroom, which in turn make what they learn meaningful.
By bringing the magic of film to the classroom, we encourage and motivate the real stars: the children themselves.
