White Week: an international experience aligned with our Institutional Educational Project

White Week, one of the international programs of the SEK International Institution, is a living expression of the principles that guide our Educational Project. At SEK Chile, we promote a holistic education that goes beyond the classroom, where our students have the opportunity to explore other cultures and develop essential life skills.

This year, White Week took place at the majestic hotel “Nevados de Chillán”, surrounded by the imposing snowy mountains of the region. Here, our students not only enjoyed the thrill of winter sports and outdoor activities but also experienced an event that fosters intercultural learning, a fundamental pillar of our educational project.

The interaction with peers from other SEK schools allowed our students to strengthen their sense of belonging and solidarity, values that our institution considers essential for the formation of global citizens. White Week is more than a winter adventure; it is a privileged space for the development of socio-emotional competencies, such as empathy, tolerance, and cooperation, elements that are part of our commitment to educating well-rounded individuals.

Every activity, from the exciting skiing days to the warm cultural exchange nights by the fireplace, becomes a valuable life lesson. These moments not only create lasting memories but also reinforce the principles of our educational mission: the comprehensive development of students, preparation for a globalized world, and the instillation of ethical and moral values.

At SEK, we understand that quality education is not limited to academic knowledge. That is why programs like White Week are designed to complement the academic training of our students with experiences that allow them to grow as individuals and as active, committed members of the global community. Thus, White Week perfectly aligns with our goal of providing an education that prepares our students to face the challenges of the future with responsibility, cultural sensitivity, and a solid ethical foundation.
