FIVE YEARS OF IB EXCELLENCE: SEK CHILE, NO. 1 IN THE COUNTRY IN MAY 2025

Consolidating sustained achievements requires vision, consistency, and pedagogical quality. At SEK International School Chile, the results of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme over the past five years confirm this path: an upward trajectory, better-prepared cohorts, and a community aligned with academic excellence and holistic education.

On July 5, 2025, we celebrated a milestone: the Fourth Year E class achieved a 100% pass rate, meaning all enrolled students received their IB Diploma. This accomplishment reflects the students’ effort, the support of their families, and the constant guidance of a committed teaching team.

In the same session, SEK Chile reached first place among schools in the country, reaffirming a trajectory of sustained excellence over the past five years. This progress has been supported by rigorous curriculum planning, personalized support, a high-performance culture, and strengthening the core components of the IB.

These results are the fruit of decades of work, investment in teacher training, and the consolidation of active methodologies that promote autonomy, research, and personal responsibility. The school’s international spirit has enabled generations of students to graduate prepared for universities and professional environments worldwide.

The challenge now is to maintain these standards and continue expanding opportunities for each student to reach their full potential. We congratulate our students, families, and teachers: the 2025 results crown a cycle of growth and commit us to continue on the path of international educational excellence.
