At SEK/IES International Institution, we believe that only one spark is needed to achieve great things. From this idea comes SPARK, our sports mascot. SPARK represents much more than an image. It is the symbol of the spirit experienced in every training session, every competition, and every meeting among the schools of the Institution. It reinforces the sense of belonging, brings our students together through sport, and conveys essential values such as effort, perseverance, teamwork, and self-improvement.

Born of Mother Nature, a dreamer, adventurous, and curious to learn, SPARK is agile, passionate about a healthy lifestyle, and a protector of the environment. Sociable and a positive leader, SPARK is always ready to help. Sometimes mistakes are made, but lessons are learned from them, reminding us that growth is part of the journey.

Its design is deeply connected to our institutional identity: its body evokes the bearing of the torchbearer; the flames emanating from it symbolize inspiration and guidance, like the institutional torch; it wears the corporate colors and incorporates the leaves of the laurel wreath from the crest, a symbol of achievement and excellence.

SPARK travels across the schools of the SEK/IES International Institution, accompanying and cheering on our students in competitions, sports events, and all kinds of institutional activities. Its presence generates enthusiasm, strengthens team spirit, and turns every experience into a shared memory.

And it is clear that everyone experiences meeting SPARK with special excitement—our students, our parents, and everyone who gets to know it. They love spending time with SPARK and feeling that it is part of their daily life at school.

Because in the schools of the Institution, sport is an integral part of education: it is learning to win and lose, to respect, to persevere, and to grow together.
